SlowPitchSound’s performance was recorded during “MG Remixed” the finale for our 2015-16 season. Also on the bill were South Indian master drummer Trichy Sankaran and “spiritual raver” Tenderness. Befitting the theme of the concert which sought to reinterpret Music Gallery history, the set incorporates generous samples of the Music Gallery Editions label both in Slowpitchsond’s turntablism and prepared loops. Accompanied by collaborator/dance Libydo LIbydo and within a set designed by Diana Vandermeulen, it was a multi-disciplinary tour de force to end our season. released March 2, 2018 |
