SlowPitchSound Presents - Alternate Forest
This immersive experience will take you from deep forests to distant galaxies as you travel through vast interconnected root systems.
The project has been in development since early 2017 and is quickly becoming one of the most unique displays of contemporary performance. Alternate Forest includes compositions and projections using sounds and visuals from sites around Ontario.
"Alternate Forest" is an educational, multi-sensory performance that combines music, dance and visual projections to highlight the importance of the world's forests and the amazing life forms that inhabit it. The main purpose of this performance is to bring awareness to the negative effects of deforestation.
